4.29.06: Cold Stone Creamery
Grand Opening, St. Louis Galleria
Deidre Pujols and ten members of the St. Louis
area Down syndrome association cut the ribbon
for the Grand Opening of the Cold Stone Creamery
across from the St. Louis Galleria on Saturday,
April 29,2006. “It is always great to see
our friends from the DSA” Deidre Pujols
said “and it’s even better when we
all get to eat ice cream!” The S.A.I.L.
group of young adults with Downs syndrome shared
information and literature about Downs syndrome
and the PFF. “It’s a wonderful thing
that Cold Stone is doing today.” Deidre
said “ Not only are they donating half
of the days proceeds to our Foundation, but
Kevin Garrett (franchise director for Missouri)
is working with the S.A.I.L. group to employee
young adults with Down syndrome. How great is
that."
