PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENTS:
Over the years, I have very much enjoyed participating in sporting activities. I have been a part of multiple teams and various sports. However, as my coursework has become more advanced, I have had the opportunity to spend more time thinking about my choice of college and career.
Over the last two years, I have enjoyed taking dual credit classes at Lone Star College, Tomball. The coursework and the college atmosphere have been both challenging and rewarding. I look forward to attending the University of Oklahoma in the fall where I plan to pursue a BA in Energy Management. I believe that the experience I gained from taking college courses during high school will greatly benefit me as I transition into life on campus. During the summers, I plan to work as an intern in order to combine my education with actual experience in the field.
However, my goals do not end with the start of my career. One of the highlights of my life so far was the summer of 2013 when I lived and worked in very rural conditions at an orphanage in Ouanaminthe, Haiti. The poverty and neediness of the area gave me a different perspective on life. After I gain some experience in the Energy Management field, I plan to move overseas to live and work where I can use my education to serve, benefit and impact a community.
