A conservative, intelligent,
young state representative, Dan Boren seems to
be tailor made to represent the 2nd Congressional
District and the state of Oklahoma in Washington.
He has a degree in economics from Texas Christian
University and an MBA from the University of Oklahoma.
Dan Boren delivers new optimism, leadership strength
and a strong program to improve lives, the economy
and the landscape of eastern Oklahoma.
Boren swept the field in winning the Democratic
nomination for 2nd District Congressman. But Boren
deserves a stronger majority endorsement for election
November 2 to the 109th Congress of the United
States of America.
Political courage, effective articulation of messages,
high vision and an ever-present aurora of upbeat
energy characterize this unusual and gifted public
servant. His father and grandfather, David and
Lyle Boren, set high standards and integrity that
easily fit Dans style and character.
Dan Boren long and studiously prepared for the
higher office through education, observation and
service in the state legislature. Almost instantly
in Washington, Boren will be recognized as an
informed, well-prepared and action-oriented Congressman.
Dan Borens opponent, on the other hand,
says he was lying on his couch drinking coffee
when the thought struck him that he just ought
to run for Congress. A pretty ambitious spur of
the moment decision.
Boren, 31, delivers uncanny maturity, keen preparation
and deep knowledge that Oklahoma sorely needs
in Washington and that the nation would respect.
Even the ardently Republican Daily Oklahoman has
endorsed Boren for the position. Dan Boren
is a young man with a bright future. the
Oklahoman wrote. The state legislator has
the energy and enthusiasm to serve eastern Oklahoma
in the U.S. House of Representatives.
On November 2, thinking citizens of Eastern Oklahoma
should overwhelmingly elect Dan Boren as United
States Congressmen for the Second District.
