7.12.07: DSA and PFF team up for a great "Lose The Training Wheels" bike camp

Lose the Training Wheels", a five day bike camp that helps children with special needs learn to ride typical bikes, came to St. Louis in June. With help from local volunteers, dozens of area children with Down syndrome had the chance to pedal their way to success at the Pujols Family Foundation - DSAGSL sponsored camp. Big Shark Bicycle Company helped supply helmets for riders at the "Lose The Training Wheels" bicycle camp and provided discounts to any of the children who wanted to buy a new bike. The June camp was underwritten by the Pujols Family Foundation, and sponsored by the DSAGSL. A big THANK YOU goes to West County Christian Church for supplying the facility, to the many volunteers who helped our kids all week, and to Gretchen Montgomery for her dedicated efforts in organizing this great event for the last 2 years. Her efforts are greatly appreciated by all the families and children who participated!
