Take Pride in The Keller
Pointe-- Be proud of the facility and the
team members in which you are employed. Be driven
to ensure that your customers and your peers feel
the same way you do about the environment in which
they have chosen to call home.
Maintain an Attitude of Gratitude
-- Thank our members for being here. Make
sure they know we appreciate their support and
participation. Whether they are speaking to
you about their satisfaction with a service,
or sharing an opportunity for improvement, ensure
they know we appreciate their time in sharing
their thoughts with us, and deliver on what
you commit to.
Success -- It takes more
than just a locomotive to get down the track.
It takes a team. From the mechanic, who maintains
the efficiency, to the track laborer, who maintains
the conditions and safety of the track, to the
dispatcher, who provides direction, and to the
conductor, who is responsible for the overall
operation of the locomotive. The conductor can't
reach the destination all by himself. He needs
his team members to support him, and participate
in the coordination of delivery in order to
succeed. The same holds true here at The Keller
Pointe. No one person can achieve the business
success alone. It requires the whole team to
make this locomotive steam down the tracks and
get to its destination.
Turn Problems into Opportunities
-- Do not become upset when constructive
criticism comes your way. Challenge yourself
to Hear, Empathize, Apologize and Take Action.
Most people just want a solution to their issue,
and we want to do our very best to provide the
solution in a timely and courteous way. The
same applies internally to the operation. If
there is a problem or an issue, share that issue
and provide a solution to resolve that issue.
Chances are, you are providing a solution for
someone else as well, and making the entire
environment better for the whole team.
Have the Heart of a Servant
-- Do you have the Heart of a Servant? Ask
yourself the following questions:
1 - Do I do whatever is needed at anytime, even
if it is inconvenient to me?
2 - Am I always ready and willing to serve?
3 - Am I always looking for ways to help others
and paying attention to others needs?
4 - Do I do what needs to be done at all times,
or do I make excuses and procrastinate?
5 - Do I treat everyone the same and every task
the same no matter how big or how small? Do
I have equal dedication for all tasks?
Having a Heart of a Servant requires
maturity and dedication. You are not always
on the look out for praise and gratitude, you
just do your job and do it well to know that
you are serving others. A servant does not have
limitations, is always a team player, and is
willing to get their hands dirty. We ask all
team members to have the Heart of Servant.
Respect Other's Roles --
Every individual at The Keller Pointe serves
in an integral role to assist the facility in
success. Whether it is employee peer, supervisor,
subordinate or customer - we need to show appreciation
and dedication toward these individuals at all
times.
Make New Connections --
Meet people, greet people and smile. Know everyone's
names and make sure they know yours. The facility
is a great networking opportunity for both business
growth and your growth as an individual. Fill
in the blank:
Who do you know who_______? Needs a facility
to workout, needs swim lessons for their daughter,
needs a place to advertise their business, was
a member of a sorority or fraternity that you
may be applying for when you go to college?
Making connections increases business and your
personal ability to grow.
Embrace the Challenge -- Accepting
a position as an employee of The Keller Pointe
means you are embracing the challenge of our
mission and vision and will strive to exceed
both customer and peer expectations daily. Be
excited about your new venture as you will learn,
teach and serve all in one place, The Keller
Pointe.
