Burrage is a member of

States Court of Appeals
for the Tenth Circuit,

Courts for the Northern,
Eastern, and Western Districts
of Oklahoma. He earned
his Baccalaureate Degree
and his Juris Doctorate
from the University of
Oklahoma. He is the past
President of the Rogers
County Bar Association,
is a member of the American
Bar Association, and currently
serves as an Associate
Bar Examiner. He has been
recognized by his peers
as a Super Lawyer and
is listed in the publication
Best Lawyers in America.
Burrage is currently the
State Senator for Rogers
and Mayes Counties.
He is
the son of former United
States District Judge
Michael Burrage, and
is a former member of
the Washington, D.C.
staff of United States
Senator David Boren.
Burrage followed Boren
to the University of
Oklahoma when Boren
became President of
the University, where
his responsibilities
included legal consultation
for the University of
Oklahoma Health Sciences
Center. He also served
as Director of State
and Federal Relations
at the University of
Oklahoma.
Burrage
was co-lead counsel
in the I-40 bridge cases
in Oklahoma and has
represented numerous
corporate clients in
defense matters in state
and federal courts throughout
Oklahoma.
He is
a member of the Choctaw
Nation of Oklahoma.
His wife,
Carole, was a former
permanent clerk to United
States District Judges
Tim Leonard and Lee
West.
