Rebuilding Together restores hope and revitalizes neighborhoods by repairing homes at no cost for low-income elderly homeowners. Through the work of volunteers and with the support of public- and private-sector initiatives, we enhance the quality of life for deserving seniors, strengthen the communities in which they live, and build a brighter future for Houston.
A Texas Veterans Commission "Housing 4 Texas Heroes" grant enables Rebuilding Together and Home Depot to improve the quality of life of a Houston man who served his country with distinction during World War II.
KHOU-TV's popular morning talk show with Debra Duncan turns its spotlight on the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and their partnership with Rebuilding Together Houston.
The U.M. ARMY is a student outreach mission which has become one of Rebuilding Together Houston's great success stories. Each summer, hundreds of students repair dozens of homes in the Houston area.
