Fall Brew Weekend
Available October 25-26, 2013

 
  Celebrate the joy of fresh micro-brewed beers and delicious food. The schedule includes a Friday evening beer tasting with appetizer buffet, a Saturday brewery tour and tasting, and a Saturday evening 6-course dinner with craft brews selected to match the flavor profile of each dish.

Beer Tasting and Reception
Firday, October 26 from 7-9pm
Friday night’s beer tasting and reception features a variety of delicious brews to sample, as well as a buffet full of gourmet appetizers and desserts. Meet our expert host brewer from South Shore Brewery, swap stories, and meet new friends in a fun, casual atmosphere. We'll taste some hoppy beers, fest brews, stouts, and a special suprise brew from SSB. This event is included in the weekend package, or available ala carte for $45/person plus tax and gratuity.

Brewery Tour and Tasting
Saturday, October 27 from 12-2pm at South Shore Brewery
During Saturday’s optional brewery tour, journey to nearby Ashland for a visit to the South Shore Brewery, where you’ll sample their fine beers, enjoy a pub lunch on your own, and take a guided brewery tour. This event is included in the weekend package, or available ala carte for $35/person plus tax and gratuity.

Fall Brew Dinner
Saturday, October 27 from 6:30 - 8:30pm
Be sure to save room for Saturday evening's 6-Course Fall Brew Dinner, where each course is accompanied by a tasty brew selected to compliment the flavor profile of the dish. Includes appetizer, salad, sorbet, entree and dessert. This event is included in the weekend package, or available ala carte for $75/person plus tax and gratuity.

First Course:
Smoked Muscovy Duck Breast w/ Raspberry Gastrique and Wild Rice. With Pinkus Organic Hefe Weisen
Soup: Sweet Potato and Bacon Chowder. With South Shore Brewery's Northern Lights Cream Ale
Salad: Mixed Baby Greens with Apple Ale Vinaigrette, seared beef tenderloin, fried shallots and candied pears. With South Shore Brewery's Applefest Ale
Sorbet: Cranberry Stout.
Entrees: Choice 1- Rack of Lamb with cherry balsamic chutney and wild mushroom polenta. With Tallgrass Brewery's Buffalo Sweat Cream Stout
Entrees: Choice 2-Seared Muscovy Duck Breast with port demi glace, roasted garlic and squash rissoto. With Samuel Smith's India Pale Ale
Entrees: Choice 3-Grilled Bison Strip with cider-bourbon shallot reduction and sweet potato puree. With New Belgium's Ranger India Pale Ale
Dessert: Spiced Pumpkin Torte layered with white chocolate ganache. With Capital Brewery's Autumnal Fire
