Under
Gov. Henry's leadership, Oklahoma is currently
spending more on highway maintenance than
at any other time in state history, but
there is still room for improvement. The
governor is pushing a multi-year initiative
to pump $2 billion new state dollars into
highway maintenance by 2016. Long regarded
as having some of the worst roads in the
country, Gov. Henry wants to build the
best transportation system possible by
continuing to earmark growth revenues
for road repairs. |
