Sesquicentennial
Park
Sesquicentennial Park is the site for Houston SleepOut.
As the name suggests, the
park was conceived in recognition of the City of
Houston's 150th birthday in 1986.
Located along the banks of Buffalo Bayou in downtown
Houston, the park flanks the
Wortham Theater Center and includes gazebo, water
fountain, river walk, sculptures
and a gently sloping 1.25-acre lawn which will be
the sleeping area for Houston
SleepOut.
