Rebuilding Together Houston was created in 1982 by a dynamic group corporate leaders, who were concerned about the plight of Houston’s low-income elderly homeowners. They brought together their employees as volunteers and, importantly, their financial resources to support the new agency’s mission of delivering help and hope.
This tradition of corporate responsibility and compassion for our neighbors continues today, with major support for RTH coming from the city’s vital sectors of finance, energy, construction, real estate, insurance, management consulting, and others.
Corporate sponsorship is a great way to make a lasting impression about your company’s support for the community, and to reinforce Houston’s reputation as a city of compassion for all its citizens.
By becoming a sponsor of one or more of Rebuilding Together Houston’s volunteer rebuilding crews, your gift helps at the very center of our mission.
Invest the combined forces of your human capital and financial capital in a special project such as BBVA Compass’ “Building a Better Houston” or Sears’ “Heroes at Home” providing assistance for veterans.
The central philosophy of Rebuilding Together Houston's education program is that tomorrow’s compassionate volunteer leaders are here today.
Seize an opportunity to involve your employees in volunteer rebuilding crews with Rebuilding Together Houston in the fall or spring or both!
