Grant County Courthouse south steps (112 E Guthrie, Medford - Look for the water tower, which is on the lawn of the courthouse.) In the event of rain, the event will be moved indoors to the Medford Civic Center (123 S. Main, Medford)
Event: Frankie Robbins will be announcing his candidacy for the U.S. House of Representatives as a Democrat from the Oklahoma Third District. The event is open to the public and everyone is invited to attend. Robbins will announce his candidacy from the courthouse steps. He will then be available for individual interviews, statements or photos for any member of the press who wishes it.

Short biography:
Frankie Robbins, 62, is a native of Medford, Oklahoma. He graduated from Medford High School in 1964 and from Oklahoma State University with an engineering degree in 1969. He worked for four years for the Kansas Highway Department, then spent the rest of his career working for the U.S. Forest Service as a civil engineer. Robbins retired in 2005 and moved back to Medford in 2006 with the intention of fulfilling his life-long dream of running for Congress and serving his country.

Robbins is a member of the Medford United Methodist Church and is the father of two grown sons and is the grandfather of a 5-year-old granddaughter.
