Super Impact 17 offers a wide variety of ways you can make an impact in the lives of low-income elderly and military veterans who need a hand to remain in the houses they call homes. Our work not only enhances the quality of life for the individual, helping seniors age in place in an environment that is safe, secure and familiar, but also positively impacts the neighborhoods and communities surrounding the homes we repair. And, as importantly, the work of Rebuilding Houston provides significant value to our city as a whole, reducing the need for subsidized institutional care, sustaining and increasing the inventory of affordable housing for those who are economically-challenged, and ensuring that our city takes care of that segment of our population--those who have given so much of themselves during their younger and more productive years--which might otherwise be left behind.
Here's how you can support Rebuilding Together's Super Impact 17 campaign and make an important difference in the lives of others:

Repairing Homes. Restoring Hope. Rebuilding Houston. Together.
"What Rebuilding Together and its volunteers did for me in repairing my home makes me feel really warm inside. In addition to the safety and security I now feel living in my home, this experience is also gratifying because I now know that people really care about others. Just think of it: How amazing is it that a group of people you've never met would take the time and make the effort to restore the house I've lived in for so many years?" This has been a wonderful, wonderful experience and I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart."
