And Isaac’s servants digged in the valley, and found there a well of springing water.  Gen 26:19.

If we faithfully encounter the adversities (of the adversary) in life the old self must first be dug up and cast out of us leaving space for Christ to fill us with His Spirit.  As He fills us with His life we can allow Him to live His life through us.  Christ is our life.  Col 3:4. 

“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus: who being in the form of God counted it not a thing to be grasped to be equal with God, but EMPTIED HIMSELF, taking the form of a bondservant.  Philippians 2:5-6. 

The life of God does not spring out of natural life.  It only springs out of death, dying before you die, crucifixion with Christ.  In order to be born anew, we first have to be killed. 

I always carry about in my body the death process of Jesus in order that the life of Jesus might be manifested in my mortal body.  2 Cor 4:10.
