Santa Fe High School's Duke von Schamann,
son of former University of Oklahoma
and Miami Dolphins place-kicker Uwe
von Schamann has signed a letter of
intent to play baseball at Texas Tech
University.
The younger von Schamann heads into
his senior season at Santa Fe in the

"Looks
like I'll become a Red Raider fan,
at least during baseball season,"
said proud father Uwe von Schamann.
"Duke has worked hard to become
the player he is today and I think
he made a great choice."
Joining the two von Schamann's at
the signing event at Edmond Santa
Fe High School were Duke's mother,
Kristy Brown; grandmother, Karin von
Schamann; and younger brother, Chase. |

McCarty Center,
Oklahoma's "center for excellence"
in the care and treatment of children
with special needs.

Von Schamann's efforts have helped
launch Camp ClapHans, a summer camp
for children with special needs, named
