The University of Houston’s Center for Industrial Partnerships fosters joint initiatives between companies and the university’s research and educational resources to help solve technological challenges involved in the commercialization process.

This research and technology center facilitates collaboration using UH's fundamental research and educational resources to solve technological challenges for Houston’s business and industrial communities. Its purpose is to partner UH’s researchers, staff and students with members of industry, investors and entrepreneurial companies.

The CIP's mission is to speed the translation of research into commercial applications while training the work force of tomorrow.
