Sugar Bowl Watch Party

Houston Sooners had a night to remember, not only in New Orleans, where the Oklahoma football team upset Almighty Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, but also at Katch 22 in Houston. Special Guest Quentin Griffin, star running back on OU's last national championship team, was joined by former OU teammates Renaldo Works and Jonathan Jackson. Also in attendance was all-time baseball great Roger Clemenss, whose son, Kory, owns Katch 22. And as if that weren't enough, "The Rocket" brought along a friend of his own--country music legend Toby Keith! Granted, Keith was on the sidelines at the Sugar Bowl, but Roger reached him by phone at halftime of the game and via a portable sound-docking station, shared his conversation with Keith with a delighted Houston Sooner contingent. While not all of what Keith had to say can be repeated here, it was a moment to remember on a night to remember. BEST. WATCH PARTY. EVER. Thanks to Kory Clemens and Luke Mandola, Jr., for a fantastic season of watch parties. It was Sooner Magic in the Superdome...and Sooner Magic all year at Katch 22.
