OU Billboards Dot Houston Landscape

On the morning of October 7, two billboards went up in Houston, one at 59 and Weslayan near the West Loop (south side of freeway facing east), the other on the South Loop at Cullen near Reliant Stadium (south side of freeway facing east). The message, coming six days before the annual Red River Shootout between Oklahoma and Texas was loud and clear:  Houston Sooners are proud of their school, proud of their football team and proud to be key contributors to the local community.

"PROUD TO BE A PART OF H-OU-STON"

Beneath the tagline is a Web address which explains why and how Houston Sooners are proud of their connection to the University of Oklahoma and the greater Houston area::
