VFW PAC
ENDORSES BOREN FOR RE-ELECTION
MUSKOGEE, OK The
Veterans of Foreign Wars Political Action Committee
is endorsing Rep. Dan Boren (D-OK), a third-term
incumbent representing Oklahoma's Second Congressional
district, for re-election to the U.S. House
of Representatives.
In a letter to Borens campaign
this week, the VFW PAC Board of Directors said
the endorsement was, based on your strong
support for veterans, national security and
defense, and military personnel issues.
I am honored to receive
the VFW PAC endorsement, and I pledge to continue
my support for eastern Oklahomas veterans
and their families, as well as a strong national
defense," Boren said. I believe it is my
sworn duty as eastern Oklahomas Congressman
to ensure that all veterans contributions
to this great nation are never forgotten. Whether
it is yesterdays veterans, todays
soldiers, or our military families, the brave
men and women who have served this nation and
the families that have endured along with them,
deserve no less than the best possible services,
benefits, and opportunities. This has always
been a top priority in my public service, and
it always will be.
The VFW PAC was incorporated in
1979, and provides 2.1 million members of the
VFW, its auxiliaries and their families with
an opportunity to collectively support candidates
for federal office who support our nations
veterans and Americas security. The VFW
PAC is one of over 5,000 political action committees
registered with the Federal Election Commission,
and is the nations only major Veterans
Service Organization (VSO) PAC.
